Postal workers are at the heart of the stories told by The Postal Museum, and we offer a range of experiences and opportunities for them.

What we do
At The Postal Museum, we create engaging and inclusive relationships with communities, making the museum an accessible place where you can learn, play and connect. We continue to learn in partnership with these communities and we are always open to trying new things.
We work with postal workers, whose knowledge and lived experience of postal communication continues to enrich our collections.
We serve under-represented and under-served communities based in Camden and Islington through a range of activities that remove financial barriers and facilitate meaningful and engaging experiences.
We also run an award-winning offer for D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent communities. We continue to work on identifying and removing access barriers to deliver an immersive and equitable experience.
What we offer
Our Communities team work closely with our audiences through different projects and activities. Some of these are:
- Community Access Scheme which offers substantially discounted tickets for Camden and Islington groups.
- Museum tours for communities.
- Open days for specific audiences.
- Outreach opportunities to talk about the museum and our collections.
- Projects that involve the community in our collections, displays, and exhibitions.
